THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS SHOW (abridged) written by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor and directed by Layla Shuparski.
Welcome to the Annual Holiday Variety Show and Christmas Pageant at St. Everybody’s Non-Denominational Universalist Church, where all faiths are welcome because we’ll believe anything. But there’s a problem: None of the acts scheduled to perform have arrived, so the three members of the Odyssey Productions are pressed into service to perform the entire Variety Show and Christmas Pageant by themselves.
This funny and fun-filled interactive show promises to be a barrel of laugh and would be a PERFECT event for a Christmas party. We are encouraging patrons to bring a small, inexpensive gift for the gift exchange (totally optional) to add to the fun of the evening.
Event will take place at the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation – NOVEMBER 16-19

Our second show of the season is Sylvia by A.R. Gurney and directed by Kim Morrall. The New York Daily News called it “one of the most involving, beautiful, funny, touching and profound plays I have ever seen…”

Greg and Kate have moved to Manhattan after twenty-two years of child-raising in the suburbs. Greg’s career as a financial trader is winding down, while Kate’s career, as a public-school English teacher, is beginning to offer her more opportunities. Greg brings home a dog he found in the park—or that has found him—bearing only the name “Sylvia” on her name tag. A street-smart mixture of Lab and poodle, Sylvia becomes a major bone of contention between husband and wife. She offers Greg an escape from the frustrations of his job and the unknowns of middle age. To Kate, Sylvia becomes a rival for affection. And Sylvia thinks Kate just doesn’t understand the relationship between man and dog. The marriage is put in serious jeopardy until, after a series of hilarious and touching complications, Greg and Kate learn to compromise, and Sylvia becomes a valued part of their lives.

Sylvia will also be shown at the Prince Albert Wildlife Federations form April 19th-22, 2023.
